Google TV Services




A set of high-definition LCD television that has internet capability will be marketed starting on 16 October. The price was in the range of $ 600 for a screen size of 24 inches, while for the 32 inches and priced approximately USD1.000 and USD1.400 for the screen size of 46 inches. In addition, Sony also offers Blu-ray disc player that is integrated with Google TV costing USD400.
“Finally you can find your favorite TV program while browsing the site on the internet in the screen and the same time,” said SVP Sony Home Division, Mike Abary, as quoted by Yahoo News, Wednesday (10/13/2010).
Google TV was launched Google since last May. It’s not only work with Sony, but also took the Logitech and Intel. This service will operate under the Google Android platform and browser Chrome. In addition to using TV sets from Sony, Google TV should also be accessed by using the set-top box from Logitech which will direct the web content into the TV.
Amazon, NBA, NetflixNew York Times, NBC Universal, Time Warner, USA Today and other Internet content providers will also provide content and applications for Google TV.
